Our Family Story
Our roots go back to the 1950s when Great Grandfather Jack Chambers founded Chambers & Son Hardwood Flooring in Chattanooga, Tennessee. In 1980, the family business became Floors By Moore under the leadership of Denny Moore, and we began serving homeowners across North Alabama.
Today, the legacy continues with AJ Moore, great-grandson of Jack Chambers, who carries forward the values of integrity, craftsmanship, and community care. For more than 40 years in North Alabama—and over 70 years in the hardwood business—our family has taken pride in helping neighbors build homes they love.
